As we enter the month of May, I am preparing for two significant events that hold immense meaning and power in our lives...

- the National Day of Prayer and Mother's Day.

I don't think it is a coincidence that both of these events take place in the same month, but rather a divine pairing that celebrates the power of prayer and the impact of praying mothers.

​

The National Day of Prayer (taking place on May 4th this year),

is a reminder of the importance of turning to God for guidance, strength, and comfort.

​

It is a call for us to come together in prayer and seek the wisdom and grace of a loving God who has the power to heal, restore and transform lives. This day of prayer serves as a unifying force, bringing people together to mobilize unified public and personal prayer for America.

​

Similarly, Mother's Day (May 14th)

is a celebration of the selfless love, devotion, and sacrifice of mothers.

A mother's prayers are powerful and have the ability to bring peace, healing, and blessings into the lives of her loved ones. It is a day to honor and appreciate the role of mothers in shaping our lives and to recognize the power of their prayers.

I know that mothers' prayers can be so powerful because I have experienced it first-hand.

​

I am so grateful to my mom for praying for me & my siblings daily!
And also to my grandmothers and mother-in-law for their prayers as well.

It definitely gives me peace, strength, and confidence, knowing that they are praying for me.
And I am thankful to God for answering so many of my own prayers for my children too.
